Caitlin Ritchey, PhD
Postdoctoral Research Associate
PhD in Neuroscience, Washington State University
BS in Biology, Lebanon Valley College
Caitlin Ritchey completed her BS in Biology (Lebanon Valley College) and her PhD in Neuroscience at Washington State University under the co-mentorship of Drs. James Peters and David Rossi. During her PhD, she studied how ascending peripheral and hindbrain circuits sense and integrate feeding signals. Caitlin joined the Roitman Lab as a postdoc in April 2026 and is interested in elucidating the effects of diabetes/obesity therapeutics on conditioned taste aversion and understanding the neural mechanisms underlying this plasticity within reward pathways. In her spare time, Caitlin enjoys baking, crafting, and spending time with her two cats.
